The course will take you through understanding why privacy matters, key concepts and best practices, understanding and identifying privacy risks in your business and safeguarding your organisation.

In today’s digital world, privacy matters more than ever.

Consumers are becoming increasingly aware of how their data is used, and they expect brands to take their privacy seriously. To build lasting trust and protect your brand reputation, strong privacy management is essential.

As data breaches become more frequent and consumers demand greater control over their personal information, privacy laws are evolving. In November 2024, Australia introduced significant changes to the Privacy Act after a comprehensive four-year review. With more changes expected, it’s crucial for organisations to align their privacy practices with these new standards - before it’s too late.

This half-day course is designed to empower marketing and digital teams with the knowledge and confidence to navigate these changes. You’ll learn how to meet growing customer expectations, understand key updates to the Privacy Act, and implement effective privacy practices within your organisation.

Interactive, practical, and discussion-driven, this program provides a unique opportunity to explore what these changes mean for your business and brand. You’ll leave with the tools to manage privacy risks and protect your organization’s reputation in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
